For Maree Robbins, Edens Landing has been more than just a place to live—it’s been home since 1981, when her family moved to the Logan suburb for health reasons. What they found was a welcoming community, surrounded by green spaces and a slower pace of life that made it easy to stay.
"Edens Landing is a leafy, peaceful suburb with great local shops, plenty of parks, and easy access to public transport,” Maree says. A perfect day for her might begin with a stroll to pick up the morning paper, followed by a wander through a local park, watching the birds and wildlife, and catching up with friends.
As Chairman of the Diggers Services Club, Maree is deeply connected to the local community. She describes the vibe as family-focused and hardworking. “It’s a relaxed and mostly safe place to live—coming home always feels like a joy.”
Though Edens Landing has changed little over the decades, Maree notes that surrounding areas like Beenleigh have seen some challenges due to past planning decisions and increased traffic. Still, her favourite café, Luv a Coffee in Beenleigh, remains a regular meeting spot for family and friends.
One of her most memorable moments was the first time she walked through the door of her current home. “I just knew—I was home.”
Would she ever leave? “I’ve already told my family and plenty of real estate agents—I’ll be leaving in a pine box!” she laughs.
With its strong sense of belonging and ease of living, Edens Landing is more than just a postcode for Maree—it’s a community, a lifestyle, and a forever home.
