Little Monsters Invited to a Spooktacular Night of Fun

PENGUIN EARLY EDUCATION is putting the fright aside this Halloween, inviting Logan’s youngest ghosts, superheroes, fairies and dinosaurs to a special disco designed just for them.

Halloween might be famous for things that go bump in the night, but at Boronia Heights this October, the biggest scare could be trying to convince the little monsters it is time to go home.

Penguin Early Education is opening its doors to families from across the community for its Penguin EEC Spooktacular Disco, a colourful, not-too-scary Halloween celebration created especially for children under school age.

With many traditional Halloween events aimed at older children and featuring late nights, frightening costumes and plenty of scares, the Penguin team wanted to create something where the littlest members of the family could join the fun too.

Held on Friday, October 30 from 6pm to 7.30pm, the Spooktacular Disco will transform the Boronia Heights early education centre into a family-friendly Halloween party filled with music, dancing, food and fun.

There will be a sausage sizzle, drinks and snacks, while plenty of opportunities to dance, play and laugh will give youngsters the chance to burn off some energy before bedtime.

And, of course, costumes are encouraged.

Little monsters can waddle through the doors dressed as superheroes, fairies, dinosaurs, pumpkins, favourite characters or whatever else their imaginations can dream up.

For children who would rather skip the costume altogether, that is perfectly fine too — the emphasis is firmly on having fun and feeling comfortable.

The invitation also extends well beyond families already attending Penguin Early Education, with the wider Logan community encouraged to come along, bring a friend and meet other local parents and children.
